Holiday Food & Fund Drive

The holidays are such a special time, regardless of how you choose to celebrate. This holds true for the 415,000 Utahns, and 1 in 6 Utah children, facing hunger. During a season filled with giving, please don't forget to include them on your holiday list. There is no shortage of ways to give back through Utah Food Bank during the holidays, so whether it's gifts of food, time, or money, your gift will truly impact the lives of our neighbors in need. Special thanks to our Holiday Food & Fund Drive sponsors my995, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, Harmons, Riverton Chevrolet and Wells Fargo.

Organize your family, friends or community group to help you collect and donate food on a larger scale. A food drive is an easy way to collect non-perishable food items for Utah Food Bank to distribute to those most in need. We encourage all those with an interest in helping hungry children and families to start a food drive. Any individual or group—be it a school, business, community group or church--can create a successful food drive! Please note: by providing your own collection receptacles and transportation, you significantly increase the impact of your donation.

Food Donations Change Lives!

Last year, Utah Food Bank distributed 65.5 million pounds of food (that’s 54.6 million meals) via our statewide network of 270 partner agencies, all free of charge. With 12% of Utah’s population, or 415,000 individuals, unsure where their next meal will come from, we have our work cut out for us! Together, we can fight hunger statewide.
