Cryptocurrency Donations
Donating cryptocurrency is one of the most tax–efficient ways to support our work. The IRS classifies cryptocurrency donations as property, meaning they are not subject to capital gains taxes on the appreciation, and are tax–deductible for the donors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Essentially, cryptocurrency donations receive the same tax treatment as stock donations.
