H.A.M. It Up Against Hunger Race

Save the date for the 5th annual H.A.M. It Up Against Hunger Race in St. George, Utah! This family-friendly fun run is part of our activities to commemorate national Hunger Action Month, which takes place in September. Every sponsorship dollar and registration fee for the race directly supports Utah Food Bank’s work of fighting hunger in Southern Utah. We hope to use this race to increase awareness of the issue of hunger in our state in addition to bringing awareness to Utah Food Bank’s work in Southern Utah.
There are 35,790 Utahns in the Southern Utah area who are unsure where their next meal will come from, of which 12,950 are children. Utah Food Bank Southern Distribution Center distributes food to 50 partner agencies and mobile pantry sites in Southern Utah, and all proceeds from this race will directly benefit those communities.
